This is my "2007" Spring gobbler set-up.

The two pictures below are of the Turkey I harvested on
5/1/07 (the camera date is wrong). The picture above was my set-up. I shot this turkey at 5 yards, there were 4
Turkey's all together, 3 nice long beards and one hen. The hen followed the longeards in! They loved the Titanium surface in
a Cherry pot with an Acrylic Striker. 10" Beard, 7/8 Spurs, 22 lbs. It's actually the same turkey on the upper
left side of my web pages.

This is Shawn Twisdom's 1st turkey, it was a young jake. I took him out on the PA youth hunt.
This is Kent L. Fantastic "2007" season. Three gobblers!!

These pictures were taken of a beautiful West Virginia Long Beard
taken by Herman Williams.
"I want thank you for sending the calls home with Anita. I would have bought another one but the Boss said one!!!!! Maybe
in the near future I'll get another call off of you (maybe a butternut/glass). The Gobbler was about 300 yards away &
across a road when he first gobbled. I used the call that I got off of you, and he started to come. Once he was within 50-60
yards and around the hill, I used my triple reed mouth call once & he came in at 25 yards and that was the end
of him!" Herman Williams

This is Jason Walker's 1st Turkey - Way to go Jason!
After failing to call in two birds at my first spot, I decided to move to a different
spot. I just started walking and would stop every once in a while to call and listen trying to locate some birds. Finally
I got an answer. I was real close too. I didn't even have time to set up the decoy. After some gentle yelping and a little
purring, I finally saw some movement in the trees. Iput down the call and picked up my shotgun. Seconds later a turkey stepped
out onto the road I was sitting on, followed by four more birds. They were about 40 or 50 yards away and walking straight
towards me. I let them close to within about 15 yards. There were two jakes and three hens, so I picked out one of the
jakes and pulled the trigger. I had just bagged my first turkey.

This is Shawn Twisdom's 2nd turkey, nice gobbler with a 10" beard, 7/8" spurs and 22lbs. I had taken him
back out for the PA youth hunt the next year, and it was filmed by Parson's Outdoors Productions. Lucky Kid!!!! This
upcoming season he is on his own!!! Check out their web-site at www.parsonsoutdoors.com Here is the video that Jon Parson put on youtube http://www.youtube.com/v/fGKgEjV8oy4

"I bought a copper pot call from Tom before the 2007 season.
In the 6 previous years I had taken only 2 jakes. I liked the sounds I could get from the copper surface and the maple
striker, so I carried this call all season and used it often. The result was 3 gobblers and a 4th that I missed.
One was a longbeard from NJ with >1" spurs and a double beard (9+" and 4+"). Another longbeard got sucked in by sweet
hen talk on a logging road in western Maine - this one was over 20# with a 9+" beard. I will always have a place in my vest for
one of Tom's calls and his strikers."

The three pictures above are from Greg Carney's Spring 2008 Gobbler hunt. (1st Day)
Tom,
Those mouth calls I bought off of you worked great today. They brought in this gobbler from over 100 yards
away and I shot him at about 28 yards at 9:20 this morning. He came the whole way in, in full strut, spitting and drumming
the entire time. It was awesome. He has an 8 1/2 inch beard and 1 1/8 spurs. I really wish I would have had a video
camera. I have never had them strut that long and over that great of a distance. Check out the pictures. My son was
really excited when I got back to the house with him.
Greg
